Richard S. Ferri, PhD, ANP, ACRN, FAAN  is a board certified  nurse practitioner and practices in addiction and behavioral health medicine.  Rick also specializes in the treatment of HIV and hepatitis and promotes primary wellness in his clinical practice.   Currently Rick is taking up the challenge of combining primary care with mental health and addiction medicine.  It is impossible to separate disease states and Rick firmly believes the entire person matters and not just a “segment”.

In addition to his commitment to fitness and health Rick is a published novelist and a produced playwright. His work has appeared in many national publications and on National Public Radio. He lives, trains, and writes with his husband – Dr. James Lear – on Cape Cod.
