Richard S. Ferri is a writer, editor, commentator, HIV advocate, and medical clinician. Richard’s work has appeared in numerous medical journals as well as the Boston Globe, Cape Cod Times, POZ, Advocate, Medscape.com , eHow.com, and many other publications. He has worked with numerous professional organizations and presented his work at conferences around the world.  Richard is also a certified personal trainer developing fitness programs for people with HIV and other chronic illnesses.

Richard does on-air commentary for National Public Radio. His critically acclaimed fiction has been selected by book clubs, translated into foreign languages, and has received several awards. He lives on Cape Cod with his partner Dr. James Lear.
